YoYo Yoga’s KAY program has been designed to build on our Introductory Level YoYo Yoga for Kids Workshop (Module A), you will learn to incorporate yogic practices to benefit all kids and explore how to make yoga fun and engaging for each developmental age, while meeting the differing needs of the children you serve.

Practicum/Experiential Learning – Upon completion of each yoga instructor training module, practicum assignments will be issued. Those seeking RCYT registration with Yoga Alliance MUST complete practicum. Practicum assignments including teaching experience, exams and essays required for each module will be reviewed one-on-one with Lisa Roberts. For out of state or long distance students, video submissions and phone/video reviews will substitute live instruction for practicum assignments. Unlike many kids’ yoga trainings, there is NO CHARGE for practicum review. YoYo Yoga School provides the opportunity for teachers to complete practicum requirements, observing, assisting and leading public kids yoga classes organized and paid for by YoYo Yoga School.
KAY Course Requirements – Our introductory workshop, Module A, is mandatory and must be completed prior to taking Modules B (KAY 1-2) and C (KAY 3). Modules B and C can be taken in any order. Those seeking to register with YA as a RCYT MUST also be a YA RYT.
